Documents needed for international moving

Export formalities require the following documents
Some of them have to be completed

Change of residence certificate

Passport
Copy of your current passport
Request for exemption from customs tax

Stickers
You complete them
They will carry your name and destination
They will carry chrono numbers
Use them to identify your boxes

Inventory list
An inventory list is compulsory
It must list all the belongings you intend to ship abroad
It must show the value of every item listed
It is for use by the customs and the insurance companies

Documents for your used car
The original Registration card
Car Situation and owner certificate (Certificat de non gage)

Change of residence certificate

Car Value Certificate

Documents for a car on a leasing contract
All above mentioned documents
You also need the proper authorization from your leasing company to export the car
Documents for new cars or recently bought cars
You need the Original of the Export Registration Card
You get it from the “Prefecture” in your area
To get it you are required to present following documents to the “Prefecture”
• Original registration card signed and stamped by the seller
• Sales Certificate completely and accurately filled in with signature of the seller and stamp
• Commercial invoice with same data as the ones on the Sales Certificate
• 2 original Car Situation and owner certificate (Certificat de non gage )
Remember that we must receive all these documents 48 hours prior to the delivery of the vehicle to our warehouse.
Any delay may postpone the Estimated Date of Shipment.
Any incomplete file may postpone the Estimated Date of Shipment.
